At SpaceLabs your privacy is our priority.

This Privacy Policy describes how SpaceLabs (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when merchants install or use our Shopify apps, including AutoTag Pro, through the Shopify App Store.

1. Information We Collect

a) From Shopify

When you install our app, Shopify automatically provides:

  • Store URL
  • Store owner name
  • Email address
  • Access scopes you approve
  • Store plan and localisation details
b) App Usage Data

To provide tagging functionality, we may access:

  • Products (title, type, vendor, tags, price, variants)
  • Orders (total price, tags, email, shipping information)
  • Customers (email, tags, order count)

We do not collect payment information, credit card numbers, or any sensitive personal data.

c) Logs & Diagnostics

For reliability and debugging we may store:

  • App errors
  • Rule execution logs (tag applied, success/failure)
  • Non-identifiable usage metrics

We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use store data only to:

  • Apply automated tags based on your rules
  • Display information inside the app
  • Improve app performance and reliability
  • Provide customer support

We do not use your data for advertising or analytics outside the app.

3. Data Retention

We retain:

  • Your rules and app settings while the app is installed
  • Minimal metadata for troubleshooting

Upon uninstallation, we automatically erase:

  • API tokens
  • Store-specific rule records
  • Any app-generated logs tied to your store

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not share your information with third parties except:

  • Shopify, as required for the functioning of the app
  • Service providers used for hosting or error monitoring (e.g., Vercel, Cloudflare)

All third parties only process data in accordance with our instructions.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may:

    • Request access to your data
    • Request deletion of your data
    • Request correction of inaccurate information

6. Security

We follow industry-standard practices to protect merchant data, including:

  • Encrypted communication
  • Minimal data storage
  • Automatic deletion on uninstall

7. Data Deletion Instructions

AutoTag Pro stores only the minimum data required to operate, including store identification, tagging rules, and activity logs.

If you wish to request deletion of your store’s data, you can do so in one of the following ways:

  • Uninstall the AutoTag Pro app from your Shopify Admin. All associated store data will be automatically deleted within 30 days.
  • Contact us at support@space-labs.app
    with your Shopify store URL and request data deletion.

Upon verification, we will permanently delete all associated data from our systems.
